At the April 18th superintendent search update meeting, BWP and Associates, the firm hired to identify the best candidates to lead our district, presented the slate of candidates that they chose to be interviewed by the PLSAS school board members.
197 people were involved in focus groups and 1956 surveys were submitted. The data collected from the focus groups and surveys resulted in a leadership profile for BWP and Associates to identify a suitable candidate for the position. 21 applications were submitted for this role and out of those 21 candidates, 4 were chosen to move on to the interview process (see below).
First interviews begin this week, Monday and Wednesday, and will be open to the public to attend and observe. These interviews will not be live streamed but will be available in video format after all four have been completed. The board will narrow the candidates to two as finalists for the second round of interviews. The board is hoping to have a superintendent chosen and in place by late May. The current superintendent, Teri Staloch’s, final day of employment in our district is June 30, 2022.
First Interviews: District Services Center
