Today is allegedly the “No Kings” protest day across America organized and attended by progressives that oppose the Trump administration. These protests are also held weekly in our own community on Wednesday evenings, hosted by the local Indivisible group. What does any of this have to do with a school board race, you ask?
Well, many of Smith’s volunteers and campaign team are members of the local Indivisible group. They can be seen knocking on doors, handing out literature and protesting at the PLSAS school board meetings. This is extremely important to note because these activists are the ones trying to get their preferred candidate elected to continue to push their progressive agenda into our public schools.
In June, the PLSAS board voted to rescind the district’s Equity and Inclusion Resolution which was met with a “No Kings” style protest. Additionally, Smith was interviewed by local news and said he didn’t support the sunsetting of the resolution.

Smith’s campaign team can be seen asking for support and assistance from their fellow local Indivisible group members. Take note of some of the key voices in the images below as shared in previous posts.
So if you have any questions for the Smith campaign, and you weren’t able to catch them at the “No Kings” protest today, just swing by the Wednesday protest off CR 42 and 13 in Savage. You can likely catch a few of them there.
Or perhaps you can catch a member of the teachers union at the protest today. They recently endorsed Smith and seem to have a lot of anonymous supportive information to share.
